New Forum Sub title : Newsfeed

Hello all, i browse the forums on a daily basis looking for new articles to read, i thought maybe we could add another heading into the forum toolbar with board index, forum rules , user control panel etc.

It will be called Newsfeed, and could comprise of a page dedicated to those who want to openly chat with other members or to share FG info that isn't to serious.

Just an idea that popped into my head earlier

Talk about (almost) anything, as long as it is no serious FlightGear talk and does not fit in the other subforums.

yes but Hangar talk still comprises of different topics, a Newsfeed would generally just be a continuos role of ideas where we could all collaborate or comment easily

what i see is you wanting some sort of live chat area or possibly an RSS feed of new postings... i can't decide which based on your original post...

Thats what i meant, a live chat type thing where online members can talk without delay

well, ya ain't gonna do that on a forum... not without some other software being run to do it and that likely won't even tie into the forum to start with...
