Can we have more URLs and smileys allowed, please ?

More URLs and smileys - why is there a limit of 5, anyways ? I always have to think twice where to put which smiley when writing long replies, and I cannot put a link to every FG related project of mine in my signature.

Right, we're not a linkfarm nor smileyfarm ;-) The limits are not so much in place to combat spam, but mainly to keep forum topics pleasent to read.

Note that you can create an overview of your projects on your personal wiki profile, like some of us have done. It's more flexible than a forum signature and you can add, for example, images to make it even nicer.
