Known issues => next update pending

Dear Users,

This is the list of the known issues for the lateste release:

(1) Download from http://flightgear-atc.alwaysdata.net finds no flightplan
The flightplan seems to contain no Souls on Board. Before there was a default of "1", now there is an empty string, that can not be converted into a number.
Status: Fixed in next update
Fix available: Download link is updated. 20150209

(2) Double click on flight conditions cause an Exception in background instead of sending the METAR
Status: Fixed in next update

(3) Flightplan server allows to "steal" contacts in control
In a situation, another OR client may release a contact that you own.
Status: Fixed in next update for FP Server

Dear Open Radar users,

Thanks to Micky some issues with the flightplan exchange server have been discovered.

To fix those issues, I need to change the interface between clients like OpenRadar and the server.
The fix is prepared. Once the server is updated, please download and use the updated OpenRadar. Otherwise you won't get flightplan updates from before you started OpenRadar.

To avoid disturbances over the weekend, I plan to publish on Monday!

There are other changes too:
Most important: The new ORCAM cam control (see http://wiki.flightgear.org/OpenRadar_FGFS_ORCAM)...
And the de-selection of a contact is easier: Simply do a double ESC!

To finish this thread: I have updated the server and openradar.

This new version is more than a bug fix version. It upgrades to FGCOM 3.4, if brings the new ORCAM (http://wiki.flightgear.org/OpenRadar_FGFS_ORCAM) and more.

Please upgrade, as there was a small but important logic change on flightplan exchange server!
