Dear ATCs!

It is a long time that we are talking about the next, soon coming update. Here it is.

At first: A big Thank You! for all the testing and feedback brought by some of you! It is very important for me, to know what you need, how you work and what you miss.

Most new things are not jumping into your eye: There have been many small improvements and bug fixes. Most important is the integration of the flightplan filing webpage http://flightgear-atc.alwaysdata.net/ (former lenny64 page). If one of your contact has filed his flightplan there, it can be easily downloaded with a single button click from flightlpan dialog. You can also close a flightplan in OR now. This state change is sent back to http://flightgear-atc.alwaysdata.net/.
Once the flightplan is downloaded to OR, it is visible to all ATCs that have or will have this contact in range.

There is a chat history now. With UP and DOWN you can recall your former chat messages. You can also send the same message again now. If a message is too long, the UDP protocol we are using does not transport the messages. So if there should be auto generated messages that are too long, they are split into two messages...

If enabled in the settings, you can have an alternative radio text, to tell your clients, that you are reachable via Mumble for instance. This message is appended where FGCOM frequencies are sent (ATIS for instance).

The contact tails are back. In the past they have had disappeared with a change. Now they have been reworked and respect the zoom level. If you zoom out, the distance in time between the tail dots grows, so the tail stays visible but covers a longer path. Please keep in mind, that if there is no longer history, there might be only a short or no tail at all. The history has to build up, before it can be displayed.

There are other small new things available now: If you maintain a routes xml file for your airport, you can define texts to be click-able. This feature can be used to have a quick way to assign SIDs or STARs to a contact.
Assuming you have a contact selected, you may click on the clickable text (e.g. the SID Name) and it appears as assigned route in the flightplan. This works the same way like a double click on the runway numbers, that assigns the runway to the contact.

Assigned routes are highlighted, if you select the contact. So you quickly see, which route the contact should follow.
To reduce the maintenance effort, you can defined shared route parts separately and include them into the main route.

Third big new thing is the display of the weather conditions for landing and starting at your airport as VFR, MVFR, IFR and LIFR. This helps to understand the conditions without reading the weather details. It is quite a handy thing...

This version has been tested by several people. Jomo works on our documentation. Thank you guys for all your great work!

Have fund with it!
