Hello everybody,
I apologize for all those misunderstandings.
I'm currently working with the people behind OpenRadar. As it is mentioned on the website, we encourage pilots to file their flight plans in order to get more realism and a better "flying experience".
As you probably know, OpenRadar currently supports many new features such as the important "flight plan exchange". It allows an ATC to edit a flight plan and make it visible to other ATCs where the flight plan will be visible. OpenRadar is constantly under development and new features pops out all the time.
What's wrong here is that i did not check the currently available OR version on the internet. Indeed, i was once able to download a "development" version in order to fix some few things on my website, and the way we manage flight plans and interact with them. I should have first checked that the available version supports this feature, which is not the case. I'm gonna then remove this image mentioning OR is "fully integrated". It will be the case in a near future, but actually not now.
What's interesting, on the other hand, is that there are now much more flight plans being submitted. So, i will remove the "Full integration with OR" but will keep the rest of the picture to encourage people to keep flight plans submissions. Again it is not mandatory to ask pilots to do so, but when you ATC with motivated players, I think it would be good practice to ask them submitting flight plans. This way when you will have this feature available, pilots would have been kept updated that it adds tons of realism.
We are on a nice transition to get a much more realistic multiplayer simulator ! Thank you all for your attention and understanding.
Cheers,
