Wiki updated for Expressions in animations

Postby mhab » Fri Apr 18, 2014 10:52 pm

Hello

I updated the following Wiki pages for the possible use of <expression> in animations:

http://wiki.flightgear.org/Howto:Animate_models :
--> I added the possible use of expression in "Special Code Parts" paragraph and references to "expression" for each animation supported

http://wiki.flightgear.org/Expressions :
--> alphabetically sorted the list of possible elements and found and removed two redundancies from the list.

Remark: I got the information from the http://wiki.flightgear.org/FlightGear_Newsletter_February_2012 and as I couldn't find the related information where I expected it to be, I decided to update and hopefully improve the Wiki.

As I havn't verified what is said about the use of expression yet, I kindly ask someone who knows more about this to check my changes and correct it if I got something wrong.

Thanks
Mike-DE

Hi, thanks for the contributions. It looks great! As far as I can see it is all accurate, though you don't necessarily need links to [[Expression]] in every sentence ;). Reminds me I should work on my other stubs too.

Hint: Categorising pages help a lot in finding them, though of course linking to them within context is even more effective.

So called "orphaned" articles (i.e. not linked to and not categorised) can be really hard to find, unless one already know what to search for, and are more often cause to duplicate work than other articles.

Big thanks to you mhab, :D and thanks anyway Philosopher as still having it somewhere probably still is better than not having it at all. :)

P.S. I usually prefer having links at the first occurrence of a word or concept in an article, or a section of a longer article. ;)
