Lee waves?

Postby D-ECHO » Sun Nov 12, 2017 4:07 pm

Hi!
Just wanted to ask whether lee waves and the updrafts due to them are implemented in the AW system. This might be a very fun thing for gliding :D
Thanks in advance and regards

Yes and no - they're implemented, but there's no automatic detection of the conditions which trigger them, the bit of code needs to be loaded manually.

Edit: Oh, look - there's even the old pic of me riding the wave still around:

Nice! Could you tell me what is to command to make wave lift happen?

This is years old, I can't remember a thing - you'll have to dig into the AW codebase, a grep for things live 'wave' or 'lift' should probably do.
