Version 2018.2 Scenery always downloading

Postby C-PIER » Wed Mar 28, 2018 4:27 pm

I am testing the version 2018.2 and it continues to download scenery, even if the button "Download scenery automatically" is at the OFF position in the settings.
Also, as in the 2017.3 version, if we put --adf=xxx as a line-command in the settings, the program aborts when we launch the Fly.

which problem? there are two in the initial post...
"You get more air close to the ground," said Angalo. "I read that in a book. You get lots of air low down, and not much when you go up."
"Why not?" said Gurder.
"Dunno. It's frightened of heights, I guess."

If the problem you invoked is the persistent downloading of sceneries, the way to work around this is to launch FG, and, when it is ready to go, click "File=>Download sceneries" on the menu bar, and uncheck "Enable automatic downloading/update" on the top of the appearing panel. If you are set to save automaticly your parameters on exit, the next time you will launch FG, the automatic download will be skiped... Ahhhhh!... Hoping the bug will be set any way... C-Pier
