1. New bug: choosing Location>Select Airport from the menu at any time causes an immediate crash.

2. The anti-aliasing/vegetation bug from the last release is fixed.

3. Frame rates are impressively faster, for the third release in a row. Great work!

4. The old Model shader incompatibilities with random buildings/some aircraft (giant black triangles) and OSM buildings (all black) are still there.

5. fgfs still seems to ignore the --config= command (old bug).

Late-2013 iMac 27" (3.4 GHz Intel Core i5), 16 GB RAM, NVIDIA GeForce GTX 775M 2048 MB, OS X 10.11.6.

Likely because I've never even heard of it...

Do we have any information like an error message? Any rendering settings, quality level,...? Any thread summarizing the investigation so far?

This is an old post from 2017, release candidates are not kept after the release I believe.

Oh, sorry :) I read 2017 as 2018 mistakenly. I saw FlightGear-2018.3.1.exe at I saw http://build.flightgear.org:8080/job/Windows-release/ , perhaps RCs are not copied to sf.net anymore.

Sorry again.

it is just not quite ready yet... the jenkins build servers have to complete a good compile and then it is possible for access to be granted to RC builds...
"You get more air close to the ground," said Angalo. "I read that in a book. You get lots of air low down, and not much when you go up."
"Why not?" said Gurder.
"Dunno. It's frightened of heights, I guess."
