Oldtimers Screenshot Challenge

Postby legoboyvdlp » Mon Nov 10, 2014 3:32 am

Hey everyone!
Thats right, I am asking for old timers! Post any pic you have... be it of a 1945 B-25 formation, 1918 Camels, 1930's Supermarine S.6B, B.E2 fighter, anything as long as it tells a story. For example, Captain "Bigglesworth on dawn raid over Lille turning to dive to the target"
Or Zero coming in low over Wheeler at "dawn Dec. 6 1941"

Or Constellation taking off for London from Berlin at noon"

I hope to see nice pics soon, prior 1969 only. No jets!

Nice! I love how the pics look like someone behind a fence took the second one and the first one shows lovely detail. Beautiful! My own is coming, though of course I am out of the contest. Not sure between a fleet of DC-3's or Lankys!

Ohhh got an idea!
Doing a fleet of D-day planes, as seen from the cockpit of the leader in a formation of six focke wulf 190's over the channel.

IE...
FW190

P-51

Spitfires

Hurricanes

P-38/Beaufighter DC3
AI scenario file soon: may take a few days of coding,

Amelia Beinhard tests new Floaterstrives on her JunkersW34 over Lappland.... we dont know if she and her navigator ever could test a real touchdown cause the contact was broken few hrs after that shooting over the Baltic Sea

Grazy Pilot lost his licence while comming in too fast, luckily there was not one Boat at Puerto Calero (Lanzarote) at that time ...
(this wasnt rl planned)

some wired planes we spotted over Cuba heading north

we tryed to follow em into the night but then they dissapear beside some sparkling little lightspots, which also dissapeared

ps: D-Day is possible, i think! thes were 14 planes above and i had just laggings as i call em back into the formation..... so i think with 8GB or more u would get easily 30-40 or more AI planes!!!!.. but im not rl good in creating such scenarios where ai's holding another course. curious to see that shots!
actually quite still naive
