can't fire f14-b missiles

Hello to everyone.
I'm using Flightgear 2019.1.1 version. I am able to fly with f14-b, but I can't manage to fire AIM-9 missiles. I know I need to set a target for the ignition system, but I can't find a target on the map. What should I do for this? Is there a plugin that will facilitate launching missiles?

You need a target.

You can go into menu->AI->Traffic and scenario setting->enable AI traffic
And then fly somewhere where the is lots of traffic (like UK)

Remember to set Radar to TWS and enable the pylon, and load up missiles:

I chose London Gatwick airport.

I made the settings you said exactly. Also I made the settings in the video .

But I'm still having trouble finding a target.

Should I try multiplayer mode? Or is there a specific scenario for this?

targets have to be AI/MP craft, AFAIK... you cannot choose models placed at an airport because they are just models, not actual craft that move about... i'm not sure that the automated AI craft can be used but maybe they can be...

I'm in multi-player mode
but still F14-B don't lock on to the target.
I'm sure I've made all the settings correctly, I think there's a mistake in my plane's radar. But I'm not sure what the mistake is.
(the aircraft stands in front of me but does'nt appear on the radar)

I had that bug also. I guess its not fixed in FGaddon yet.

Workaround:
Use key ctrl-n instead of clicking on the button for TWS on backseat.

Thank you for your help, but the radar still doesn't work. Radar cannot detect the target near me

Should I change the aircraft version?

Follow wikipedia, select button "y" keyboard when want to lock target, it is new update. Enter y once or twice or more times to lock if the radar show many targets.
