EngineHours for Service

Is there an instrument which accumulates total engine hours? The instrument-3d/tach.xml has a hours display underneath rpm, but it does not move. The P28-161 also has some picture of a datcon instrument at the bottom right of the panel showing elapsed hours, , but it does not appear to be an instrument.
Thks in advance

There are a few Hobbs meter implementations floating around, e.g.

the C172P has a hobbs meter if the OP is looking to update the craft he has found with what appears to be hobbs meters that are not updating...
"You get more air close to the ground," said Angalo. "I read that in a book. You get lots of air low down, and not much when you go up."
"Why not?" said Gurder.
"Dunno. It's frightened of heights, I guess."
