AIRBUS A330 STARTUP ISSUE

Postby Captain LaForest » Mon Jun 08, 2015 6:17 pm

Hello. I have recently downloaded the A330-200 from the Omega Hangar. The first time that I was in the cockpit, I did the usual startup procedure...
1. EXT PWR-ON
2. APU STARTER AND APU MASTER-ON
3. APU GEN-ON
4. EXT PWR-OFF
5. FUEL PUMPS-ON
6. ENGINE MODE SELECTOR-IGN/START
And then when I tried to turn the engine masters on, they would flick up into the normal position for a fraction of a second and instantly go back to the off position. I tried to uninstall and reinstall the aircraft but the issue was still happening. I have had this issue with the new version of the A320neo as well. Someone please help me with this issue because I would love to fly the A330 and A320neo as they look like very nicely modeled aircraft. Thanks! -Dylan

because something isn't install properly... since you got it from github, i suspect that you downloaded a zip file snapshot... when you extracted it, the directory name probably looks like "blahblah-master"... remove "-master" and try running the sim again...
"You get more air close to the ground," said Angalo. "I read that in a book. You get lots of air low down, and not much when you go up."
"Why not?" said Gurder.
"Dunno. It's frightened of heights, I guess."

Public versions are broken.

When the artix private build is released, all will be fixed.
Skillset: JSBsim Flight Dynamics, Systems, Canvas, Autoflight/Control, Instrumentation, Animations
Aircraft: A320-family, MD-11, MD-80, Contribs in a few others
