Avionics System Integration

Postby kgwedi » Sun Jul 18, 2021 9:34 am

I am trying to build an IFR Grob-109. After many hours of trying to get the signal from my kx165 nav receiver, to my ki206/vor indicator, I am asking for a hint, or a point to a tutorial or readme on "avionics system integration".
I checked out the Seneca-11, C-172, and the Quickie, to see how they do it, and to me, it seems just by magic.
I have moved their kx165 and vor indicators to my Grob-109, and they light up, and are adjustable with the knobs.
In the instrumentation files, they mention "nav[0]". Is this the ki206/vor indicator or the VOR radio receiver?
Using "/" the "nav" are always:
serviceable = true
power-btn = true
operable = false

Obviously I am missing something.
Thanks in advance.

I think the nav radio has no power.
