Also, if several people are on but are representing different carriers, will the dialog box differentiate? Actually I guess I should back up a step first, and ask -- is MPCarrier as you've just updated it compatible with 1.0.0 still?

On 1.0.0 you add the whole code box - it creates a "Network" menu in your menubar. For the second question: if you look at the dialog you'll notice that the callsigns have "(MP-Foch)" after - the other carrier players will have (MP-Nimitz) and (MP-Eisenhower), respectively and it should be possible to select one of each.

I have not tested it on 1.0.0 but I think it should work.

I'll see if I can't be your test-case, then. I've added the menu code and I'll play around with it today if I can find a few people on MP as a carrier -- maybe I'll pop into IRC later and see if I can coerce a few to log on.

For any that are curious, it works just fine...

And after I get back from a meeting at work I'll post what Anders, buti, and I worked out to also add a dialog box to your FG that shows all nearby MP users, their bearing and range...

Anders, buti, I took the liberty of correcting the "hdg" header to read "bearing"... :)

For 1.0.0 users that want to easily add the updated MP Carrier plus the new "Network" commands to your existing FGFS setup: http://filebin.ca/hrsaoc/carrier-and-menu-update-v1.tar

Hey, Is it possible to control the nimtez in single player/offline, I downloaded the nimtez from the link on the first post but I cant see the ship I can go through all the views, but I cant move it either as it starts at KSFO.
Aircraft: Linux, Harrier, Typhoon, Chinook, AC130
Ships: Nimtez, Type 45 Destroyer

All my aircraft are used by the R.A.F (Pure coincidence ;)

The version at the link is obsolete (it was for FlightGear 1.9.1 - and I assume you use FlightGear 2.0.0).
Get it from http://www.flightgear.org/Downloads/aircraft-2.0.0/ instead.
The carrier should be visible and controllable in single player mode.

You see thats the thing I use 1.9.1, I would download 2.0.0 but I have a Internet USB which has a download limit and 2.0.0 is most likely to be well over 1gb

Ah, if you are using 1.9.1, then the issue might just be that you have not enabled the nimitz_demo AI scenario - so there is no carrier present. If you find the FlightGear output console (or log) you will probably see a notice about Nimitz not found.
The newer versions of MPCarrier automatically enables the Nimitz AI scenario but the one for 1.9.1 might be too old.
