Logging

Postby kavya » Wed Mar 10, 2010 8:32 am

Hey

FlightGear has a logging feature wherein we can specify which property we wish to log and at what time interval. But how do I give a condition here, for instance if I want to log the angle of attack value only if it is in the range from 4 to 10...

I tried giving <condition> within the <entry> tag in <logging> in the preferences.xml file. But this ends up showing 'condition' in the property tree. How else can I give the condition so that it actually works?

Hi,i'm not the appropriate person to reply but, most likely you can do this by nasal scripting...Just try to check the documentation folder in FG Data folder...On the other hand a small script on the log side (i mean instead of logging you can interface FG by generic out - socket and listen to port) can do the trick quiet easily...
I may help about this if you are working on win platform.Just let me know...

Greetings...
