As some of you may know, there is an annual international 3-D aircraft design contest, known as the ADC contests on Google SketchUp hosted by myself.
(ADC is the abbreviated acronym for the International Digital Aerocraft Designing Competition of Google SketchUp -and, possibly, FlightGear)
Entering the third year of the successful competition, I have thought about extending the wave of the game into a new terrirory -here.
The only thing that you have to do is the following:
Get a Google Account (It's Free and Required for the Last Step)
Create the Model
If Created in SketchUp, Submit with the Tag "ADC 2010"
If Not Made in SketchUp, Post the model to the Internet
Inform of the upload here: http://groups.google.com/group/alpha_adc
(The last step is crucial especially for non-SketchUp users, as searching for the model will be impossible without this notice)
NOTICE THAT THE CONTEST HAS NOT YET STARTED, AND WILL NOT UNTIL AUGUST 3rd, 2009.
For details, please consult to: http://groups.google.com/group/alpha_adc
So, if anyone wants to try this idea and try to model an airplane -ANY AIRPLANE, HISTORIC, PRESENT, FUTURISTIC OR FAKE... please say something here.
Thanks, and I hope you guys want to try this idea!
