How to access composite-viewer?

Postby tldrc » Mon May 31, 2021 3:10 pm

Hi,
I have read about the composite viewer through this wiki article
https://wiki.flightgear.org/CompositeViewer_support
--composite-viewer=1 does not seem to be supported in the current release build.

What is the easiest way to try this new feature?
Which branch of flightgear do I need to compile to get access?
I have actually tried compiling 2020-experimental branch but I'm not sure which branch of simgear is compatible.
Thank you.

Hey, welcome to the forum.

You probably want to compile the next branch of both, simgear and flightgear

If your on Windows, just use the nightly. It has compositor-viewer support. Worked for me.
