AW doesn't seem to be activating correctly for me as I still l have to click "apply" in the Weather dialog?
I like the approach though.

To be precise, if I have "Border of Low Pressure" selected and cloud slider to max, then I change slider to min and click OK the clouds disappear (even if I never hit OK).
But if I then set the slider to max and click OK, no clouds are generated until I also click on the Weather dialog's Apply button.

It's not meant to enable AW - its meant to reload it if its active. I use the setting in the launcher to automatically start it, I should test without that.

I see the bug too, wlbragg.

Thorsten, how am I supposed to reload AW?

@legoboyvdlp it's not quite as simple as looking at the weather dialog apply button, but it is all there if you trace through what happens with the four major events in that dialog, ie: basic weather, detailed weather, metar selection and the apply button. That is why I posted that the cloud density would fit better in the weather dialog because of all the things that have to happen for it to be effective. METAR selection is one in particular that might be troublesome, although I am sure there is a property set in the tree that you can catch for that.
This appears to be a difficult problem, probably why it hasn't been solved prior to this.
Personally, I think it needs a little restructuring of the dialogs to do it justice.
