Some minor comments (somewhat verified through Wikipedia):

portreekid wrote in Sat May 06, 2017 6:35 pm:fw190/fw190a8-set.xml

I think the tag value is "supercharged" not "supercharger".

portreekid wrote in Sat May 06, 2017 6:35 pm:Focke-Wulf-Ta.154/ta154-set.xml

Surely, the two Jumo 211 or 213 were supercharged?

portreekid wrote in Sat May 06, 2017 6:35 pm:Fw200/fw200-yasim-cnf.xml

Both "radial" and "supercharged" ought to apply here.

portreekid wrote in Sat May 06, 2017 6:35 pm:Fw61/Fw61-set.xml

I'd add "piston" and "radial" here.

@portreekid: All committed, thanks. (you seem to have an interest in WW-2 planes...)

Yes. And especially since most of the GA stuff is done by others. I think this is a really good idea and something I can do whenever time quite easily. I really liked the Feature on Emmanuels hangar page.

Just a friendly reminder that this isn't all done yet and many aircraft still lack tags.

And new-style splash screens. And ratings.

I've taken the hint 8)

I take http://adalin.com/ehtw.info/flightgear-metadata.txt is still updated?

Heinkel-He-177/he177-yasim-cnf.xml
Code: Select all
 <tags>
      <tag>heinkel</tag>
      <tag>low-wing</tag>
      <tag>tail-dragger</tag>
      <tag>retractable-gear</tag>
      <tag>twin-engine</tag>
      <tag>propeller</tag>
      <tag>bomber</tag>
      <tag>piston</tag>
      <tag>1940s</tag>
      <tag>ww2</tag>
    </tags>

still turns up as not done.

If you look at the commits

https://sourceforge.net/p/flightgear/fg ... /Aircraft/

you can get a good impression. Anything that has

Manual reversion of r583 and r570 - the removal...

hasn't been touched since ages and can be tagged, anything that has a commit with the name 'tag' or 'metadata' in it (such as the He-177) has been tagged, and anything with other commit messages needs to be looked at separately (but there's not that many).

I have to do it by hand end for months nobody cared. Also I'm very busy at the moment so I'll see if I can pick it up again on a daily basis but I'm not promising anything.

I cared ;-) but if it's too much hassle don't worry. I can rely on the svn state.

When do I tag an aircraft as Rembrandt? As soon as enabled is found somewhere?

When you're sure it works... I usually only do when the aircraft description/ Wiki says that it's Rembrandt compatible.

Hi,
the wiki newsletter entry still says, that there are crafts with tags missing.

Yet, checking that file, today i was not able to find such one - is the effort done, i.e. should the newsletter entry be removed for further releases?
