Generalizing the qt5 scenery installer

Postby Parnikkapore » Sun Oct 23, 2016 2:11 pm

The qt5 launcher's scenery installer is only accepting World Scenery packages. Would it be possible to make this work with any standard scenery package such as our Default Airport packs?

A "standard scenery package" is a .tar.gz with folders like "Terrain" at the top.

I think you need to write on the mailing list to reach James - he rarely (if ever) reads the forums.

Alternatively, simply file a feature request: https://sourceforge.net/p/flightgear/codetickets/

I decided to post here first, since it's more likely to have responses (my 2 latest suggestions haven't received any).

Okay, will fw to the mailing list!
