Repository for .jetways.xml

Postby FirstOfficerDelta » Sat Apr 03, 2021 3:28 pm

Hello!

I just recently finished an AI jetways file for RPLL (Manila). Rather than make it a custom scenery, I was wondering if there is a repository, better if linked to TerraSync, where I can place the file.

Keith Paterson manages the jetways as part of the Airports repo: submit new files to him here: https://github.com/Portree-Kid/flightgear-airports

Unfortunately I asked if I can place it there, but I got I reply that I cannot. The repository is the terrasync/main which is the repository where groundnets are updated.

that reply you got was not from portreekid... you should maybe PM him here on these forums to find out what to do... he has definitely discussed it on the devs' mailing list... click on his underlined name in this post and you'll see his user record where you can send a PM or email...
"You get more air close to the ground," said Angalo. "I read that in a book. You get lots of air low down, and not much when you go up."
"Why not?" said Gurder.
"Dunno. It's frightened of heights, I guess."

Hi all,

just for the sake of completeness here is the tread from devel. I'm just trying to get my head around the AI code so my brain is pre occupied.

When I have some time I'll start on the jetways. It does require some testing for every Airport RPLL might be a good start. Stuttgart also is in the pipeline
