Jan Mayensfield (ENJA) location

Postby astrolabium » Wed Jan 27, 2021 11:42 am

Hi all,

I think there is an issue with this airstrip.
When I tried to depart from Jan Mayensfield, I found myself in a field littered with rubble. When looking around, I found the runway visible in the background.
I checked the location using Google Earth and I tried again, now by entering the lat/long of the runway thresholds In FG's "Location" search box. This actually put me in the right spot.
Next, I changed ...\TerraSync\Airports\E\N\J\ENJA.threshold.xml to look as follows:
Code: Select all
<PropertyList>
  <runway>
    <threshold>
      <lon>-8.6658</lon>
      <lat>70.9389</lat>
      <rwy>04</rwy>
      <hdg-deg>39.98</hdg-deg>
      <displ-m>0.0</displ-m>
      <stopw-m>0.0</stopw-m>
    </threshold>
    <threshold>
      <lon>-8.63792</lon>
      <lat>70.949686</lat>
      <rwy>22</rwy>
      <hdg-deg>220.02</hdg-deg>
      <displ-m>0.0</displ-m>
      <stopw-m>0.0</stopw-m>
    </threshold>
  </runway>
</PropertyList>

Whith the same result: correct positioning of the aircraft, at both ends of the runway.

Anyone else who noticed this?

Rgds - Harold.
