It is still in testing. I can use it because I wrote it. The interface requires some external computation to convert from decimal fractions of a degree to an integer between 0 and 1200.
This version requires:
silx http://http://www.silx.org/
Python

I would like to use Qt instead of silx eventually, and develop a front end for it.

If you want a file edited, I might be able to help you with that.

I still like this scenery, but I fly into St Barth a lot, and I missed the tower and terminal.
So I tracked it down and included it with the D-ECHO scenery, along with the boats in the bay.

You will receive missing texture messages, but those were there when I got the scenery from D-ECHO.
I'm going to try to track them down also. Edit: I corrected a bunch of them. They are in the World Scenery Pack (giant download).
This does not have all that. Just the parts of it required for this scenery.

Edit: I also modified the parking at St Barth. You can select a seaplane parking ramp for the Twin Otter float version. Lower right corner.
Follow the dirt road to the beach.

I'm now working on Saba (TNCS). I have all the cars and buildings (and the "head guy") at ground level now. I'll upload it when I'm done.

I have a challenge. I can't find the TNCS.dat file that D-ECHO used to create the scenery.
The current file places the runway in the old incorrect position. If you select "runway" as the start position, you are out in the woods.

It should be the one marked with a star on this page: https://gateway.x-plane.com/scenery/page/TNCS

Thank you very much. I'll try it after I land at Martinique.
I think I'm about to go IFR (like most of the morning here). No problem. ILS at Martinique.

Edit: That isn't it. It puts me in the woods.
Except for that, it looks good! If you want to start at TNCS, select "ramp".

P.S. I redid St Kitts (TKPK). I put the stock terminal, admin building, and cruise ship pier in this scenery.

As the previous version went down and no longer available, here is a new built of this scenery, soon covering the whole area the previous did:
https://github.com/D-ECHO/Caribbean-CustomScenery
https://github.com/D-ECHO/Caribbean-CustomScenery-dev

@SurferTim, I am now using SRTM-1 elevation data from https://lpdaac.usgs.gov/products/srtmgl1v003/, if you want (and can), it would be cool if you could manually edit these files again to reach a correct runway elevation and slope. Thanks!

I'll give it a shot. What did we use last time?

Edit: This is 30 meter resolution, right? I'll have to modify my code to edit it.

Yep, last time was SRTM3=3 arc second=90m resolution, this time it's SRTM1=1 arc second=30m

Start at St Barts? Do you know which panel I need to modify?
I've modified the code, but I haven't tried it yet. The array is huge.
If my math is correct, this is 3601x3601 array rather than 1201x1201.

Resolution sounds correct.

Yes, I think St Barths is the most critical one.The coordinates for St Barths are https://www.openstreetmap.org/search?wh ... /-62.84396. Do you know where to get the files or shall I add them to the repository (this would take some time as it's ~700MB file size).

That site is much more confusing than the first I dealt with.
Where on that site did you get your STRM-1 data for your scenery?

By clicking on Access Data, then selecting the intended area on the map and going to download.

But considering we will anyway have to store the manually edited files in the repository, I'll just upload them now

I clicked on Access Data, and got a bunch of choices. No map.
The code seems to work. I'll wait.
That hgt file should be only 12 MB 25MB. My bad. Integers in the table, not bytes.
N17W063.hgt is St Barts.

Edit: If you can just get the file to me, I'll post the zipped edited file on my site.
I still have the SRTM-3 edited N17W063.hgt file. I'm going to use it as a template to save a lot of time.

Here you are, all files up :) https://github.com/D-ECHO/Caribbean-Cus ... ata/SRTM-1

Also @SurferTim, I couldn't find a link to the elevation changing toolchain you developed, could you point me to it?

Got it! I'll give it a shot.

Update1: I have it in edit mode. It may take a while. I have 9 times more entries to do here.
All seems to work with the new resolution. Did a test save and it saved it fine.
If the tools work this time, I'll post both the SRTM-3 and the SRTM-1 editing tools.
Bear in mind it requires a third-party scientific-based toolkit. SILX
