UFO doesn't display.stg path

Postby simone04 » Wed Jun 12, 2019 6:25 am

Hello everyone!
I have a problem.
I had to modify an airport by adding things (models).
Then as the wiki says I should press "d" to display the information into the console.
The console should say a path to a .stg file.
The only thing is that the console doesn't show nothing, only details about the position of the object.
Here it is an attachment of my console

My specs:
-Windows 7 x64 with Intel Core Duo @ 3.06GHz and 3GB RAM
-FlightGear 2018.3.2
-Custom Scenery located in "documents" folder
--console option enabled

I use a Mac so this might not work for Windows:

Instead of 'd' type 'e', then look in your Flightgear folder for an "Export" folder. In there should be a file called 'Export.xml' which should give you the .stg file.

simone04,

The missing STG file path in the Selected Object section appears to be a defect. Most times the Object STG path will match that of the UFO position, so that could be a quick workaround.
The STG file path of the UFO position can be found in the console further up in the UFO section. Based on your screenshot, its just off screen above the top line shown in your console window. You would have needed to scroll up to see it.
