SCIR & Another island in Chile

Postby Picun_1812 » Fri May 10, 2019 3:54 pm

Hello, today I am writing for the Robinson Crusoe Island, a small archipelago on the Chilean coasts. In the scenery the runway is a huge base on the sea, discarded from the ground.

Could you adjust more to reality?

Thanks in advance to all who have cared for my whims, I always admire the work they do.

Regars :)

Here you go: https://github.com/D-ECHO/Crusoe there are still some problems, e.g. no lines (rivers, streams, tracks etc.) because I have problems with my ogr-decode, but should be better than default for sure.

If you want to help improving this scenery, improving the landcover on openstreetmap is probably the best & easiest way to start (or placing objects..)

D-ECHO did some digital housekeeping a while back, and a lot of good scenery was lost. :(
Like several scenery packs D-ECHO did, they should have been added to the stock scenery, but rumor has it that the FG scenery hasn't changed in 8 years (since 2012).
Nothing new is being accepted AFAIK.

What? If its help, i have downloaded caribbean-master.tar.gz on 2nd December 2018.
If D-ECHO has lost this scenery, i can upload it so that D-ECHO regain this pack.

I have that scenery also. I had already downloaded it before the housekeeping.
He has some new scenery available for the Caribbean. I'm using it right now,

Maybe I should be more specific. It was lost to all who hadn't already downloaded it, until recently.

Nothing new is being accepted AFAIK.

New scenery is accepted into TerraSync as long as it does not cause visible seams. This means that islands usually can be submitted but in-land terrain can't because it would create seams

Please submit your new Caribbean scenery. Please.
I do not want to see it lost.
