Just started polling it. Doing it via a simple curl. Maybe once a week would be enough once the build is done? I think that I can only get updated files.

Maybe I can tweek the end of this url a bit.

Hi,
As planned, the data is also available at http://ns334561.ip-5-196-65.eu/osm2city/ . Is this url and its content OK with you?
If that's the case, I'll add the synchronization process soon on a weekly basis.

This url currently points to v0.1 and I can't get into the parent directory. As soon as there is something available from the new build, it would be in a dir named v0.2 which would be beside v0.1. I guess with the current setup this wouldn't be available.
Apart from that, I don't really care how the url looks like (it's just one line in a conf file -> easy to change)

A quick update:

I've just started to provide the files in the way they will be included into terrasync. For those who don't want to wait that until it gets in, can download the current build from here.

Note that due to the fact that that it will be included into terrasync, I won't update the graphical download interface.

And the some stats on the scenery so far (same as on the ml):
Total disk usage: 168.6 GiB
Apparent size: 140.2 GiB
Items: 1892988

Size distribution:
Roads 96,6GiB
Pylons 58.4GiB
Buildings 11.6GiB
Details 2.1GiB

I've decided to discontinue providing v0.1. If you are interrested in keeping it, download it NOW. It will be taken down soon.

For available mirrors see: https://merspieler.alwaysdata.net/osm2city/

Monitoring the build progress on a daily basis. I'm a bit anxious to try the european tiles that are currently built.

What's with the six tiles marked as skipped? Corrupted data?

Why are you anxious about the european areas?

Skip: On these tiles did out of memory errors happen. Note that parts of these are already fully build. I'll rerun them one by one after everything is done.
I'm currently running up to 32 threads in parallel so they've got to share the memory and then such events are more likely to happen

i suspect that like many out here, they want to experience more realistic and up to date scenery than is currently available in FG...
"You get more air close to the ground," said Angalo. "I read that in a book. You get lots of air low down, and not much when you go up."
"Why not?" said Gurder.
"Dunno. It's frightened of heights, I guess."

I'd translate anxious more like concerned....

"Anxious" to try something is a figure of speech, at least where I'm from. It doesn't mean that you are actually concerned, just that you are excitedly waiting to do it.
