WED exporting to X-Plane Scenery Gateway

Hello,
I have created an airport in WED, I have validated it and I now want to export it to the scenery gateway so that it is then included in the next FlightGear scenery update. However, I am unable to upload as I have an 'Unknown' X-plane version. Yes, I don't have X-Plane, but as in the FG Wiki, I have created a required directory and WED works fine. Does anybody know what the problem is?

Hi Ivan-Pekar,

If I'm not mistaken, I believe you need to set File > Target X-Plane Version within WED.

I've tried that, and it doesn't seem to change anything.

It says: 'Cannot export due to validation errors' (despite me validating the airport in File > Validate prior), but also : 'The selected X-plane folder contains an unreleased version of X-plane Unknown'.
