Slow downloads?

Hi All,

I'm new to FlightGear, but really enjoying what I've done so far!

But I'm trying to download scenery (and also aircraft) - it seems to go at about 10k/s, which means a high res scenery tile will take about 3 days! Can anyone point me to a faster mirror for downloading the newer scenery? I can't seem to figure out how to use the list of mirrors given in the flightgear site, perhaps I am being dim!

can you say which mirror you are using now?

ideally, you won't worry about which mirror to use... if you are using the internal terrasync scenery download option, the system should be locating the closest mirror to your location...

as for downloading aircraft, are you doing that from in the launcher using the blue [Install] button in the section for the craft you want?
