Here's the log:
Code: Select all
make: *** No targets specified and no makefile found.  Stop.

Not much to go on!

Not much to go on indeed. Will fire up my Windows machine and see if I get the same issue.

Is that the complete log? If not what are the lines just before this message?

That's the entire log. Not much, but a search indicates the makefile is not present, so it stops because it needs a check for dependencies. Could something not be installed properly?

I'm wondering about my install of Visual Studio.

I have Visual C++ installed in VS2017. Is that the package that includes the MSVC 19.14 compiler? I remember I didn't see this compiler mentioned specifically, so I thought maybe it is missing.

In trying to verify that this particular compiler is installed I found this link which describes a compiler issue with the now included version 19.15: https://github.com/appveyor/ci/issues/2598. Could it be related?
