Hello all,
Thought I would make a quick post to lay out my intentions for this project involving EGPH (Edinburgh Airport, Scotland).
So I have been flying in and out of EGPH for about 2 and a half years in FG now. The current objects have guided me in countless times, started up on near every apron, rolled out on near all taxiways. However has always felt incomplete (but satisfying) to me, when compared to Glasgow Airport for example (which I find odd).
Now I have decided to give back to the FG community for those 2.5 years of experience they have given me. For my first project, I shall be reconstructing EGPH to its current 2018 construction, this includes any new taxiways, aprons, runways (edit to 3rd unused perhaps), terminals, hangars, the cargo terminal which is missing, etc. Just to let you's know also, I am a believer that FG should run on low-med as well as high-end computers, therefore will limit the verticies/faces on the models and use models already in FG for generic structures.
I will most likely be documenting the process on my YT Channel and probably posting to this post as well!
Thank you,
TheMightyPilot
