Massive import of objects was ignored

Postby Anarcho-pilot » Thu Mar 01, 2018 10:26 am

Hello! On the 27th of Fabruary I added 6 objects to the scenery database via massive import form and recieved an e-mail:

It's the 1st of March now, and I haven't recieved a confirmation yet. There are already were a few object updates on the 28th of February and the 1st of March:

So I think, that my massive import form was missed. Please, help me solve this.

sourceforge is still going through pains from its migration to a new data center... i'm still getting emails from 10+ days ago from their servers... it is good that you raised this but we need to keep waiting for SF's problems to be all worked out...
"You get more air close to the ground," said Angalo. "I read that in a book. You get lots of air low down, and not much when you go up."
"Why not?" said Gurder.
"Dunno. It's frightened of heights, I guess."

can you say what the objects were that you were adding? i did see some stuff come in the other day when i was finally able to update my scenery once out of several dozen attempts... the ones i saw were around PHNL, i think... i'm guessing they weren't from you since there were 50someodd files in that update... that was on the 27th at 5:30 in the morning my local time (-0500)...

PS: i'm (still) getting a HTTP 503 code when i try to update my scenery...
503 Service Unavailable
The server is currently unable to handle the request due to a temporary overload or scheduled maintenance, which will likely be alleviated after some delay.

The server MAY send a Retry-After header field to suggest an appropriate amount of time for the client to wait before retrying the request.

Note: The existence of the 503 status code does not imply that a server has to use it when becoming overloaded. Some servers might simply refuse the connection.

yes, seems its frozen, my last addition was at 25th february without aprovation, hope SF and TS will be free soon for everybody, and then release stable 2018.1 properly with the last objects shipped.

Is it just SF that is holding up this new release then?

basically, yes... i haven't been able to read the mailing list archives for a few days but my posts are now apparently going through instead of being rejected... i haven't been able to update my scenery in the last day, either... i'm not even going to try to update my local repos until i can update my scenery since it all comes off SF in my case...

@Anarcho-pilot: thanks... i don't recall seeing anything in that area yet... at least not containing that call sign...
