Submit a model working?

Postby statto » Sat Dec 23, 2017 8:09 pm

I keep running into "Error: error" on scenemodels as I go to submit a new model to the database.

Also we've lost some functionality on the statistics page - if someone has access to the source code I would love to have a play with it.

Thanks

I have unsuccessfully tried. Stuck in config now. Come to think of it the tables in mysql are maybe missing

I have been validating new models as usual in the last couple of days. That suggests it is your input which is causing the problem.

Yes I guessed that. But Error doesn't tell me what. That's why I wanted to clone the system. Is there a install discrimination anywhere?

I'm not sure exactly what your question means, but there are various things which will stop the form being processed.
Letters where numbers are expected and vice-versa for example. Spaces before numbers and so on.

Basically the automatic checks, which take place before they come to me for validation, attempt to do the mundane things instead of me having to do them like poor old Martin Spott used to do.

Oh description. The post is sent and the Ajax reply only contains error. I'd love to help by improving the error message. PHP can't be witchcraft

The input forms and their working were originally done by Julien Nguyen, who has now moved to China and is not always easy to contact.

If you think you could make some improvements I suggest you get in touch with Torsten Dreyer who is 'Mr TerraSync' since Martin Spott left.

A screen shot showing your input may help.

Here's a model to test as I cannot figure out what is wrong with it:

The capital c in the jpg file name ?

The auto checker is not as intelligent as Martin.

That didn't fix the problem - plus I recently uploaded a file with a similar naming convention.

Could it be a problem with the model itself?
