How do you edit scenery?

How do I edit scenery in FlightGear 2017.3.1? (I wanna edit the scenery at EGLL and EGLC)

I'm getting random buildings coming up in the middle of the airport (EGLL) and would like to add the royal docks (EGLC). Also, the taxiway signs at EGLC are inaccurate (they say that the runway is 28-01, but it's actually 27-09)

Start reading here

Taxisigns come from the apt.dat and aren't that easy to update
