All names in parkposition have the same name

Postby powoflight » Tue Aug 29, 2017 3:52 pm

In D:\FG\FlightGear_2017_2_1\data\AI\Airports\EDDT.groundnet.xml are the names = "A".
The same happens in D:\FG\FlightGear_2017_2_1\data\AI\Airports\EDDT.

In EDDM.groundnet.xml, names = "" are empty.
This makes it impossible to position the aircraft at the parking position at Berlin / Tegel Airport EDDT.
Code: Select all
    <Parking index="0"
             type="gate"
             name="A"
             number="1"
             lat="N52 33.315"
             lon="E13 17.517"
             heading="0"
             radius="43"
             airlineCodes="" />

    <Parking index="1"
             type="gate"
             name="A"
             number="1"
             lat="N52 33.337"
             lon="E13 17.486"
             heading="0"
             radius="43"
             airlineCodes="" />

Can I solve this problem by put in the correct name of the names of the gates?

there are numerous ground nets that are like this... i don't know why... the only fix is to fix the ground net for the airport... to do that and do it properly, they are generally named by gate number or similar... eg: gate_1, gate_12, GAParking_5... one should have a chart of the airport available when they do this so they get the spaces named properly...
"You get more air close to the ground," said Angalo. "I read that in a book. You get lots of air low down, and not much when you go up."
"Why not?" said Gurder.
"Dunno. It's frightened of heights, I guess."

I have find the updated groundnets and AI jetways for FlightGear from 3/2017.
EDDT and a lot of other groundnets are there.

there's another one with the procedures xmls for a lot of airports, too... it has more but all i wanted was the procedures files... they give you SIDs, STARs and approaches... seems to be alright except if the list is really long, it runs off the screen rather than being in a box with a slider...
