Apron Texture too tiled with Transition/Landmass on full

Image

As seen in the above image, the apron texture is too tiled with transition and landmass.

"You get more air close to the ground," said Angalo. "I read that in a book. You get lots of air low down, and not much when you go up."
"Why not?" said Gurder.
"Dunno. It's frightened of heights, I guess."

It happens on most airports that use that texture for the apron. It's Portland, Maine. Can't remember the ICAO.

I've just checked KPWM and I don't see tiling anywhere near as bad as in your screenshot. I don't see the brown line thingies of your screenshot either - custom scenery perhaps?

If this is not something on TS/FGData, it's not my responsibility, sorry.

Thorsten, the issue is not the brown lines but the tiling. I'll try and get screenshots elsewhere. I'll use Terrasync and load an airport in Africa somewhere...

I don't see the tiling. So I suspected it might be custom scenery (it could also be custom materials file containing definitions different from mine). Since I didn't see brown lines either, I started to suspect that you're not running a standard setup.

Could you please confirm whether or not that is the case?

FWIW: yeah, i don't see any problem with the tiling of the concrete areas... here's a view of KPWM from ~25 feet AGL...

Image

there's definitely no tiling problem there... at least not as depicted in the original image regarding this problem...

I think it *may* be the lighting. Wkitty, can you test at dusk? I do not see the tiling when I set the time to noon, it looks like your image.

Should have stated that those images were with everything but TerraSync removed in the launcher and I have never messed with materials... yet.

Sorry, still can't reproduce it.

Perhaps you need to play with the material definitions, test other textures/normal maps, see what works for you?

i've the same behaviour at dusk times, looks really weird if you spawn on a blank airport with just concrete (my tile texture). even if you spawn on objects massified airports like KBOS it can be seen. another issue, some rembrandt-ready lamps (best option because is ALS compatible) for airports look good with illuminaton on ground but if there're some other texture or material (example, grey concrete) that face isn't iluminated or partially.looks weird
