Wow! Now there's a problem with LPPD too! Before it was great, now the terminal, taxiways, etc are somewhere up in the hills and the runway is the older version!

Well, this is crazy! If I choose to depart from LPPD, I get the new, great scenery. If choose to depart from another island (like from LPHR or LPAZ) I get the old one when arriving at LPPD!

Do you have two scenery locations installed (aka, is this a problem in selecting the right folder) or is this 'just' TS (aka, is this a question of TS serving different scenery case by case)?

It's TS, I have no different scenery location (that supplies this part of the world) and the problem shows

Then I suggest you pass a writeup of your observations to TorstenD, he needs to make sense of this.

FWIW: what servers are the terrasync files being downloaded from? it is sounding like there's one that is out of sync and serving old tiles...
"You get more air close to the ground," said Angalo. "I read that in a book. You get lots of air low down, and not much when you go up."
"Why not?" said Gurder.
"Dunno. It's frightened of heights, I guess."

When using TerraMaster have you set it to HTTP? Which Version? The older ones will download from SVN which isn't updated any more

I have the latest version and I checked if it's using http. It is. I synced the terrain and objects but it's still doing the same thing.

Hi. I hoped that, what time, this would be solved, but it isn't. The terminal is still ON the runway. Also the new scenery in LPPD doesn't load.

Yeah... problems don't solve themselves because time passes - it usually happens through debugging, for which we ask for information, so... if the questions are never answered, the debugging never happens and so the problems never go away.

Depressing, I know...

What kind of information do you need?

from what i see at LPPI, everything is underground... take the UFO underneath and look around... buildings, fences, vehicles, etc...

yes, things need to be moved which can be done via the scenery site but i don't see where any debugging is needed unless you still have a problem with seeing old scenery as noted up-topic...

i won't even mention that things aren't built right, there... there's no taxiway from one end of the runway to the other, for one thing... in fact, there's no taxiway there at all... you taxi down the runway to get to the end for takeoff or to get to the exits in the middle where the buildings and parking are located... satellite photos easily show this...

I don't know if this helps to find what what's happening: today I made a flight from LPPD to LPPI. When arriving to LPPI everything was ok! But then, after closing the program, I launched it again by starting up at LPPI. Guess what? The good old "building on the runway" scenery was there again.

1. were you using terrasync when you flew to LPPI?

2. do you have any custom scenery for LPPI?

i just made a flight from LPPD to LPPI as you suggest... i flew at 2000 feet the whole way... when i arrived at LPPI, it was as i described previously... the terminal building is covering part of the runway and the tower is in the middle of the taxiway that doesn't belong there... all of my scenery is from the official flightgear scenery server(s)...

i went, again, below the surface in the UFO and everything is still below instead of on the top of the land in the scenery... i suspect one problem is that the objects are being forced to a specific altitude setting instead of letting the scenery server calculate their position above sea level... i started to move the terminal building in the scenery database interface but when i looked at satellite photos, it just didn't make sense to move things when they're not even correct for the airport in the first place... we can still do that, though... at least the terminal building and the tower... i don't think i want to try moving all of the fences, though...
