Hm... strange sorry, but there are quite many bugs with terrasync.
I don't know, has ts already changed to http in 2016.2.1 ? (question to the community :D)

I think it is changeable to http, like I read in other threads... In which way does that matter so far??
Is there a possibility to install the Airports manually?

yes, you can still install airports, custom scenery and other craft manually... none of that has changed... the trick is to create a directory for the Objects/ and Terrain/ directories to be placed into... then you point fgfs to that directory via the --fg-scenery command line option or in the fgfsrc or .fgfsrc file or where ever your launcher allows you to specify additional commands or select an option where you can enter it in...

anyway, that sounds wordy... it is this easy

--fg-scenery=/myflightgear/myscenery

and then you take the custom scenery archive and put its Objects/ and Terrain/ directories in /myflightgear/myscenery so you have a directory tree like this...

/myflightgear/myscenery/
/myflightgear/myscenery/Objects/
/myflightgear/myscenery/Terrain/
"You get more air close to the ground," said Angalo. "I read that in a book. You get lots of air low down, and not much when you go up."
"Why not?" said Gurder.
"Dunno. It's frightened of heights, I guess."

[EDIT]Because tg-construct seems to not know anything like -e 5 -x 20000

It's a parameter for terrafit, not tg-construct http://wiki.flightgear.org/FlightGear_World_Scenery_2.0

Hey folks, to promote this thread some more, I just want to give a small resume, what we did and what actually needs to be done:

-Total retexturing of every canary island, DONE
- new airport layouts for every canary island airport, DONE
- airport buildings for GCHI, GCGM, GCLA,GCXO and GCLP, DONE
- airport furniture for GCHI, GCGM, GCLA,GCXO and GCLP, DONE
- few general AI traffic for every airport, DONE (by default)

What needs to be done or to be improved:

- airport buildings for GCFV, GCRR and GCTS
- airport furniture for GCFV, GCRR and GCTS
- immovable aircraft ATR72-500 in Binter canarias livery
- region-specific AI Traffic for the Canaries (i.e. Binter Canarias flights -> ATR72 model currently in development by goonybird)
- small bug fixes (mostly done by D-ECHO)

If you want to contribute in the development, your help is highly appreciated. (Especially on the missing airports!!!)
To avoid any double processing, please leave a comment to tell us what you're about to do.

Big thanks to every contributor who helped to develop this custom scenery to its current state.
Regards, flycanarias

did you know that the old terminal was removed in real life in 2005 ?
I wonder in which year Lukas made his model.

Thank you for this information, I personally don't know any details about Lukas reasons to create the old terminal. But, because we don't have the Canary Islands' Airport Buildings complete yet, we are focused on creating buildings for the missing airports, Tenerife Sur, Lanzarote and Fuerteventura. If you have any modeling skills, and want to have a go on any of these airports, feel free to do. La Palma will probably be updated after finishing the other airports, and correcting the already known bugs, like airport building elevations. Our team would be very glad to get fresh support.

Happy flying around the Canaries,

Hi flycanarias! I know how is the status of this project, but for my side i can't do anything this year, exams and work... and other on course projects here.. but i've recently started work in Lanzarote and Fuerteventura (main buildings and some objects), i can say it will be done in 2017 before spring if time permits. Pommeschranke added some corrections to GCXO (Tenerife Norte) and this weekend i can correct the rest there, mostly misplaced objects but its doable. GCLA need a new terminal, but there's still the old one (by Lukas), maybe when the other main objects from the empty airports are done (GCFV, GCRR and GCTS) and then i can finally work in GCLA, but i think too, empty airports have priority.

Hello guys here is Lukas,
I'm glad to read your worries because they bring me to hurry up with the project. Until now i hadn't much time for the canaries airports, but now I really want to finish that project as soon as possible. The current Status: GCLA is always finished (some details are missing); GCXO and GCTS are fully modelled, but I renew both airports and improve them with many details, so that they should be more realistic. Collateral I begin to model GCRR, GCLP and GCFV. I think in Jan 2017 it should be done. By the way: soon I'll update my homepage respective scenery projects and liveries (meanwhile I still created some liveries and airports like Reykjavik Intl. or Svalbard)

Thanks

Hey Lukas, nice to hear from you, and even nicer that you have that good news for us!!

You have Tenerife Sur GCTS fully modeled? So please bring it up to Terrasnyc, I'm really looking forward to see it! You mentioned that you want to redo GCXO and GCLP, please do that, but I'd prefer if you put the most priority on the yet missing airports, GCFV and GCRR. Most airports need some TLC, but in my opinion, it would be nicer to have at least some buildings at every airport, instead of having e.g. one in highest quality and on another airfield only a layout.

I really like your work and really look forward when you'll publish it!!!

Happy flying,

flycananrias

EDIT: I saw you provide a new version of GCLA at your webpage. Could someone load this up to Terrasync- Database???

Some news for the terrain: While learning how to use the attribute table in QGIS I removed all residential roads to make the load easier to handle for tg, now I'm trying to regenerate the scenery including (at least major) roads. After ~12 hours I am at 187/414 (landclass loading+clipping), let's see whether it'll get something this time, maybe I'lll have to delete other parts as well. There isn't by chance someone with an i5/i7 (or the respective AMD model) around who wants to build some 0,8GB of data?
