Awesome work! The second shot looks like an airport in the middle of nowhere..

Unfortunately the object's elevation is now wrong, is it possible to use a script (as used in terrasync?) to convert elevation offset to elevation?

If you mean terrasync objects, don't worry, are automatically calculated for each elevation change (from the official scenery), if you want to calculate the objects elevation for your new custom scenery you need to run a script in linux (python) to recalculate the new altitude of these objects. You can use a script used by me for OSM objects that need to get a new elevation position, this is the same, download the script. As the script is for OSM objects you need to modify it to just do the 'fgelev' part. I read somewhere that you can get object elevations too in the intern console of Nasal in FG, but i can't find the documentation.

Okay, so when I send the cs (terrain) to someone maintaining terrasync, object's elevation will be automatically calculated? :D

I think so. I don't have submitted new terrain but when you upload a new model (shared or static) normally TS save the position to -9999 (on the web) but takes the actual official terrain elevation.

Unfortunately tg-construct takes a loooooong.... time. In about 20 hours it just loaded, clipped and constructed (1 step of three) 156 of 414 tiles... is that normal??

It might be normal depending on the level of detail you have chosen in TerraSync (I think it's the -e switch in tg-construct) and on the number of details stored in the original (SRTM/VMap0/OSM) data.

luckily the first step takes the longest - polygon clipping is a beast.

Hey folks,
after a long time, I'm back on this thread.
I am still looking for the airports, because they don't seem to be on terrasync. (Except for GCGM) I know that Lukas wanted to develop all the airports, but what's with those already developped? e.g. La Palma or El Hierro ( made by D-ECHO) or the ones Lukas wanted to give an update?? (GCXO)

Actually most airports are in terrasync (have a look here https://scenery.flightgear.org/coverage.php and type the ICAO code in).
The new layouts are generated with the terrain but unfortunately my computer isn't able to handle/generate the osm roads and rivers data (takes far too long).

@elgaton: Could you explain me how to use the -e switch and which -e value was used for terrasync/ws?
[EDIT]Because tg-construct seems to not know anything like -e 5 -x 20000

Hey, thanks for your quick reply,
I checked everything on the scenery page, but on my sim, it shows nothing... the buildings don´t appear... Except for GCGM...
Neither Hierro, nor Tenerife, nor La Palma. Why is this the case??
