Hi xsaint,

since I started flying around EDDM a lot, I wanted to model the airport, but it seems you have already started. I guess you never uploaded them. Could you please let me use the files so that I can extent them and upload them - unless you want to do it yourself?

Cheers

I started modelling (parts of) EDDM. So far, I've almost finished terminal 2.

Excellent - I was at EDDM in real-life two weeks ago, and was there last night in FG, doing some testing - and I thought it was a shame we had no models at all. Clearly D-79 can read my mind. Scary.

Great work as always. Maybe you can get Androdyme to model the (visually obvious) Bayern Munich football stadium, which is nearby.

Here's terminal 1 now. It actually looks quite a bit different from terminal 2:

You mean andyramone? HeÄs not around much anymore, as it seems; but of course one can ask.

He's still around, David. He's just been a bit busy modeling some exclusive scenery for Atlas Virtual Airlines (which means it gets posted in our forums and not here in the FG one) :)

I would bet he'd be interested in modeling a football stadium for this (although maybe not until he's done with the other project).

Indeed I am still around.

As Jason has said, I'm spending all my modeling time building Miami Airport for AVA (check out the link in my sig for progress.)

I'd happily have a go at Munich Stadium, however, Miami Airport is likely to take a long time (at least until Christmas) so if anyone else wants to have a go in the meantime then go ahead. I promise I'll add it to my projects to-do list though.

In case anyone was unclear why the stadium is 'quite' visible at night, from EDDM: Image

Great work on the tower, David.

Some more buildings popping up at EDDM.

Hey Andy, it definitely looks like you should get this stadium built.

EDDM has grown and now it even has some AI ground traffic running:

I used the [wiki]AI groundvehicles[/wiki] script for this feature. Thanks to Vivian Meazza for help with the script and to papillon81 for rotating the bus models in the right direction.

Any comments appreciated.
