Well, it goes faster than i thought.
All technical building have been accepted .... but the tower building have been rejected ... too more textures file.

I have to make less textures files, but need to make them bigger (actually 1024x1024)

This will take to me some days, but , i think i ll be able to submit remap model for the end of week ...

It took me a few hours to refactor my textures.

The model was accepted and validated in TS and should be available here by the end of the day (12:30Z today in the mail)

Thanks to Vic for his help

I will now continue my work on terminal.

Looks the same for me. Additionaly you can do night textures too (i think it's important for a tower). Look at the wiki or other models as an example. Great work!

Hello,

Little update on scenery.

I added (not actually on TS but soon) a new building.

With some update on the AC Blender plugins buildings are now display by night, so i decide to have a try on day / night textures

This have been done on the new building (small and easy)

I am going to work and update old building textures before continuing modelling the airport

Hej daweed,

thanks for your nice scenery and buildings. I also likes the area.
I have very few proposals and indications :-)
About the building which have only one texture for night and day like LFLL-BAT-AF-TERM.ac,
I think a emission about emis 0.45 0.45 0.45 is enough. emis 1.0 1.0 1.0 is very hard at night (and day).
For building with night and day texture you can try this:
LFLL-TERM02-PART01.ac
    Line 3 - emis 0.1 0.1 0.1
LFLL-TERM02-PART01.xml
    after Line 25 additional to <type>textranslate</type>
    Code: Select all
       <animation>
        <type>material</type>
        <object-name>LFLL-TERM02-PART01</object-name>
          <condition>
             <greater-than>
             <property>/sim/time/sun-angle-rad</property>
             <value>1.57</value>
             </greater-than>
          </condition>
          <emission>
             <red>0.6</red>
             <green>0.6</green>
             <blue>0.6</blue>
          </emission>
       </animation>

Your LFLL.procedures.xml is written for Runways="18,36".
You have to name the runways exactly - Runways="18L,18R,36L,36R".
The STAR MOU 1 (your MOU 5N) can be used for all 4 runways at LFLL.

Very nice contribution. Way to go!
greets and see you in Lyon!
Josh

Hello, because I (if I'll have the time) would like to fly from LFLL to LSGG during the Festival of Flightgear 2015, I decided to add the SIDs via BELUS to LFLL's route manager file. The SIDs are defined by VORs and DMEs and I only know how to specify explicit coordinates in route manager files, so I had to determine those coordinates. I also added "dummy" waypoints named "ICPT R-175-LSE" etc. and marked them with "<Flytype>Fly-by</Flytype>" to create legs that approximately match the desired radials of the VORs. To determine the coordinates of the Sid_waypoints I used the functions SGGeodesy::direct, SGGeodesy::radialIntersection and SGGeodesy::distanceNm of SimGear 3.0.0. I got the coordinates of Sid_waypoints "RW 18L", "RW 18R", "RW 36L", "RW 36R" from the French AIP and the coordinates of the VORs from FlightGear's nav.dat file (810 Version - data cycle 2013.10, build 20131334). For the magnetic variation of the VORs I used the corresponding value of the "multiuse" variable specified in the nav.dat file, otherwise I used the magnetic variation returned by SimGear's function sgGetMagVar for the position of the previous waypoint. It should be noted that the sgGetMagVar function returns a magnetic variation of approx. 1.06° for the ARP of LFLL, but according to the French AIP the magnetic variation at LFLL is 0°.

The file certainly does not include complete information for the SIDs and can only be used together with the charts. In addition to the problems noted before I was unable to test the file with the autopilots of bigger aircrafts, unfortunately, but I thought that it might make flying from LFLL to LSGG a little more convenient to others, so I decided to share it with you.
