It's not available, and it's just landcover. It has to be merged into our global landcover before anything can be generated.

How is this data stored? Shapefiles? Where did it come from? Landsat manually traced? Could we use it to create custom scenery? What needs to be done to merge this landcover data into global landcover?

It is really amazing and happy to know that there is a Project Hong Kong with the great free filght sim software.

I am a Hongkonger and had experience to develop HK commercial product for FSX.
Wonder if I could help in this project.

You're more than welcome to join in! What are you interested in, or what did you specifically develop in said FSX product? (3D modeling, terrain generation, texturing, ...) Depending on that I could point to to some resources for FG.
