Impressive  !

What do you mean for "It's going to come soon !" ? You mean this will be merged in the core of fgfs (I hope so) or it will be some kind of external patch ?

can't wait to see it on my pc :D

No, I just meant that there is still work done to improve the feature, such as to implement trees on, etc... But I hope there will be some kind of release in FlightGear sometimes ! I don't have a timeline, still.

Still the same kind on enhancement, but with Brest (i.e., taken with high resolution aerial pictures, not GE) :

Impressive !

Thanks again to nels, such a great job you're doing !

off-topic
I'd politely disagree about getting flash to work being easier than installing mplayer :)

I don't see how/why this would count for excluding users/members of an OpenSource project from watching a video by swapping an Open codec against a closed one ....

The problem for me with the Open source codec is that it does nothing except crashing.

But who cares ? If the author of the video doesn't want to share his work with us, it is his choice, and I respect that.

Its just some people don't like too much stuff installed that they use once per year.

I don't want this topic to go trolling on something else :

Ogg Vorbis Video is an open format : this is why it has been used. And I am not the author of the video.
VLC is - amongst others - the software to read it. It is also the best video reader to avoid the use of codecs.

So, to answer you, I will take the time to put the videos somewhere else in a closed format (FLV), and I recommand everyone to use VLC (www.videolan.org).

So the video for Brest is here : http://www.dailymotion.com/djibril29/vi ... videogames (aerial pictures, 1 m definition).
The video for Corsica is here : http://www.dailymotion.com/djibril29/vi ... videogames (satellite pictures)

Hope everyone is happy now with this closed format. Just don't ask me when they will be available !
