That's a good and valid point. Thanks! :) I did not think of that at all.

In the case of a thing practically equal, or equal, I would have made a massive import, but I'm not a validator of scenario, and if you accepted is because is correct for the FG. My opinion is different, when I was still sending model when I tried to do unique templates TerraSync.
And as I mentioned in another post the girl SketchUp model until it is cool, looks good on the model 8)
And I rest my opinion in this post, I have nothing more to say.

If you want to mass import this model, it has to be in fgdata. So this means the models will be on a lot of FG users hard drive, while it's nearly only used in three airports in Germany. We have a lot of complaints from FG users saying fgdata is too big...

Partially fixed, moved to Bing instead of Google, working fine, some white popups with imagery rights infos, but read arrows and usual tools are back. Thanks Martin.

I often (read nearly daily) have a quick look at scenemodels.flightgear.org to see what new models there might have been added, but yesterday and today the server does not seem available.

Yep, sorry the host in the US is down for now, we're waiting for someone to kindly reboot it.

There is an rss feed for that in http://scenemodels.flightgear.org/rss/models.php (also down for now).
Now that I mention it maybe it would be good if the feed is updated to show the link to the model which seems to have been changed some time ago, the feed links to http://scenemodels.flightgear.org/modeledit.php?id=1000 for example and it should link to http://scenemodels.flightgear.org/modelview.php?id=1000
I think this would be a minor edit here in line 29 https://gitorious.org/fg/sceneryweb/source/scenemodels/rss/models.php#L29 but I don't really know if this has other consequences in some other place.
Thanks.

Thank you very much for the new feature in the forms: ignore elevation and use only offset.

It is a very simple change, but simplifies the uploading process and prevents mistakes like forgetting to change custom elevation to -9999. Now, it is just copy&paste the output of the ufo.

A very simple yet powerful idea!

Yes, it's back, thanks to everyone involved. Julien also fixed the RSS export, so everything seems to be back to normal again, and uploads and updates are already coming in!

Any idea?

Just a heads up on this: the problem is solved with today's commit [1]
I can look again at 3d preview in firefox! Many thanks to Julien Nguyen for fixing this!
