Lot of work going on behind the scenes, slowly knocking items off my never ending todo list.
Today I worked towards finishing the rewrite of my terrain export / import tools. Now can export any arbitrary region, at whatever sample resolution, to file name of your choice. Now uses a much simpler plain text format instead of xml, and with optimizations made to scenery queries in git it is lightning fast as well. What took 15-20 minutes (no joke) before, now exports in around 20 seconds, and have tested with exports of entire buckets in less than a minute even on my older pc. Tools still need work, but hoping to release them with the scenery or shortly thereafter. Still an enormous amount of work to go yet though, I don't even want to think about that..one step at a time.
Entire bucket (e011n47 3138121) into blender 2.49 and 2.6 respectively...
