I'd like to kick SVN in the next release and use the space on the settings to switch between scenery versions. ws21 seems to be making progress. I want to be ready ;-)

Sorry Keith, You have lost me!!! I just like to have scenery "ready to hand" on my PC as terrasync never loads fast enough, even though I have 32Gb download on my internet!

@portreekid: i don't know if you saw on the list but there's only one SVN server for FG scenery any more... everything modern should be using the newer http stuff for pulling and updating scenery... i would say, sure, go ahead and drop SVN in TerraMaster... that last SVN server will be turned off sometime... when is another question... and if the code isn't being used, well...

FWIW: when one doesn't use SVN any more, they can gain roughly the same amount of drive space back as the scenery they have when the SVN history is deleted... the SVN history is huge... my total scenery repository was like 160Gig before i deleted my SVN history and switched completely to the http method... i gained ~80Gig in recovered space...
"You get more air close to the ground," said Angalo. "I read that in a book. You get lots of air low down, and not much when you go up."
"Why not?" said Gurder.
"Dunno. It's frightened of heights, I guess."

Yes Version 1.11 uses the remaining SVN server. I'll wait for the new scenery before the release.

Good news is I got a new modem/router and moved up to 25 meg. May not be fast for some but it is for out here, I'll be testing tonight.

I have noticed that political borders based on parallels (e.g. the US-Canadian border up to Minnesota) are way off. It is a great circle rather than part of the 49th parallel. That is the worst example, but there are others.

In both projections?
Has it always been like this?
Which Version?

The code for lat/lon to pixel is/was rudamentary. I'd think, it may not be WGS84.

I'm using 1.10. The borders are only errant in the 3D global projection. As far as I know, it always has been like this.

Won't fix. The Alaska Border is 141° not 140°. The line is 140° East, so all is well

Also, it is extremely sluggish at high log levels.

Yes. I haven't found a way to stop the ui logging. So each mouse move logs stuff :-( But I'm not overly worried, as you seldom have to use it. The border issue is on the ToDo of the Data source.
