The object gets culled based on its actual size (unaffected by dist-scale). So if you make the object larger, then scale it down with dist-scale, it will be visible farther out.

that's interesting... very interesting... actually comes out as the reverse of what most people would do...

ARGH - I just spent half an hour chasing the bug in my models's XML file … for nothing, as there was none. Until I remembered this thread … :x :evil:
