It would be well worth someone who speaks fluent code to reach out to him maybe
(...) , I bet he'd find FG interesting it's just a matter of getting through to talk to the guy.
Gentlemen, please sit back for a moment and think.
In what world is
'Hey, nice project you've got there, would you like to leave it alone and work for mine for a while?' a proposal that's likely to make you friends?
It's
not just a question of 'getting through' - if I were contacted by someone representingproject XY with such a proposal, I'd consider it plain rude to even suggest such a thing.
Moreover, it's not just taking a few lines of code from here and inserting them there and everything it'll be oh so cool - for the end user it's a few minutes of updating FGData, but for the developer it's easily a hundred hours of designing, trying, discarding, trying something else, optimizing, ironing out the bugs etc. - the 100 lines of code you see in the end are usually not something that's written in one go.
So if you count the workinghour of an experienced developer even with 50$, you're asking 'Hey, do you mind donating 5000$ to us?'
In what world does that work?
If someone ignores rude emails from you -
leave him alone.
