Rain Inside Airport Building  Topic is solved

An exciting "new" option in FlightGear, that includes reflections, lightmaps, the particle system etc.. A lot is yet to be discovered/implemented!

Rain Inside Airport Building

Postby flc972 » Tue May 25, 2021 10:51 pm

Hi all,

I created an airport terminal with interior design (MDPP-Puerto Plata airport).
When it'raining, it's raining also inside the building.
Is there a way to prevent that?

Thanks in advance

Hum, that might be one for the developer mailing list. How is the building added to the scene? I've never really checked to see if it rains inside, say, a hanger I placed in the scene through the models database.

Usually it does rain inside buildings - there's code to exclude the cockpit from rain, but that's all.

Thank you all,

I found a video on how MSFS 2020 manage this https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nT5A9n7ZwJ4
I did not find yet for X-Plane.
Perhaps one day for FlightGear depending on the performance cost?
So I'll add an umbrella shop inside the terminal :-)
