Compositor clustered shader light for interior dome lamp

An exciting "new" option in FlightGear, that includes reflections, lightmaps, the particle system etc.. A lot is yet to be discovered/implemented!

Compositor clustered shader light for interior dome lamp

Postby wlbragg » Fri Jan 29, 2021 9:15 pm

Has anyone done a clustered shader "spot" light successfully for an interior dome lamp to light up a panel? I've been experimenting but I am having a hard time getting the cutoff to be at the panel and not extending through the cabin, but strong enough to illuminate the panel as bright as I would like.

Example code might help me, if it is even possible to achieve the delicate balance. Maybe a point light would work better, I haven't tried that yet.
